Qber!!! :O

Finally, you're submitting to Newgrounds! ^_^

Now for teh review! :D

First off, I love the soft beginning in this techno song, following the piano entrance--very creative indeed. Then the percussion entrance is very cool, following the electronic piano sound (I think) that keeps this song flowing. This techno piece is very calm and flowing, and I love it!

Great job Qber! I expect a lot of good things to come from this piece, and your other works too! ^_^ 5/5 and a download from me! :)

GameQber responds:

Thanks Smurt! :p

For me, no song is complete without some piano mixed in, and I'm pretty satisfied, myself, with how I blended it in there. The piano plays through the whole thing but it's very soft after the intro.

I don't think I ever posted a review on your song! D:

For everyone reading this, check out "Escape!" by smartpoetic. She wrote an amazing classical piece, in the Classical section of Newgrounds.

Thanks for your response, Smurt! :0)

How cute! :o

That melody sounds very cute, but sad in a way. You're off to a good start! I can't wait to hear the extended version of this, and more of your work. :)

Very very awesome!

I loved this piece, especially the harpiscord and flute duet in the beginning. This song feels very heroic, sweet, and moving! ^_^

Keep up the good work! I can't wait to see what you come up with next! :)

Love-Hate-War responds:

Thanks alot for the review! It's an old idea I had, i've just recently gathered together the effort to finish it :P Im glad you enjoyed it, look out for more in the future!

Just awesome! :O

Very very awesome work! Do you use actual orchestras or programs to make the music? (I use finale and FLstudio, but looks like I need to start looking into other ways of writing music!)

You are an awesome film composer! ;) Have you written for many movies? :O

Now I have another composer to look up to! ^_^ Great job and I can't wait to see more of your works!

...*shakes head*

Okay, let me give you some advice:

I've heard this song from the one that Nobou Uemanstu made...this is not your work. When I make video game music, I make my own MIDIs (from hours of listening to the game music), then put it into FLstudio and rework them.

1)Get you a music notation program, Finale 2003, 2004, 2005, 2006 or any Finale program, really. Learn to write music on a staff, it really helps you when making it. You can look up Finale's website on google if you need it.

2)Once you learn the program well enough, start saving your work as MIDI files, and then use another program called FLstudio to put your music in. Its free, and only a demo, but I never need to save in it anyways, because most of the time you can do everything you need in one setting. You can look up FLstudio's website also on google. You'll also need to find some decent "soundfonts" for the program, but there are plenty of sites out there with soundfonts.

If you ever need help with any of these programs, or just music help in general, please email me at smartpoetic@yahoo.com.

Good luck in the future. :)

Finally!

I've been waiting for someone else to try their hand at this piece.

You put a lot of different flavors and textures into this song, but I think it would be better to bring out the basslines and maybe even the upper melodies in this song.

But otherwise, I love this originality that you put into it! Great job! ^_^

ZombiePosessor responds:

Sweet, thanks man.

I haven't heard anything like this! :)

Good job! I've never heard anything like this before, and I'm glad that you can come up with something so pretty, yet original.

I can't wait to see what else you have in store of your Heaven pieces! ^_^

Really really pretty!

I almost shed a couple of tears myself! *sniffle*

But here is a suggestion. If you are using FL studio, look for some new soundfonts than the standard patches. You can really find some great free soundfonts on the internet if ya look! ;)

Awesome work, I can't wait for more! ^_^

Holy mother of pearl!

Awesome, thats all I can spit out of my mouth right now. I love the use of the timpani and cymbols to create that kind of ancient war time effect. Also, nice useage of the synth strings, too!

I can't wait to hear more of your music! ^_^

Serion responds:

Thanks :)

Expect more soon everyone! Thanks for your support and critisism (positive)!!

Yeah! A well done battle song for FFVIII!

Enough said!
